Job summary

LifeStation is seeking independent contractors to visit members' homes, install and test medical alert units, and educate users on operation. Installations typically take 10–20 minutes and occur within a defined territory near Moline, IL.

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, delivering equipment, and securely handling documents while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality. This is a project-based contractor role with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Experience performing in-home installations of devices or similar systems.
• Ability to follow step-by-step installation instructions with accuracy.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for client-facing work.
• Highly motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
• Patient, professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
• Punctual and reliable with strong time-management.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Home Health Aide or caregiver experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate, deliver, install, test, and educate members on medical alert units in their homes.
• Schedule on-site visits within a 100-mile territory of Moline, IL.
• Collect and send documents back to the office and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
