Signature Companies is seeking experienced High Value Residential Insurance Inspectors to work as independent contractors covering Charleston County, South Carolina. You will perform on-site inspections, document construction features, and support underwriting with accurate, timely reports.

Ideal candidates have direct inspection experience, strong knowledge of construction methods, and proficiency with measurement tools and reporting software. Flexible terms for local market work are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication with homeowners and agents.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently.
• Experience in insurance inspections, loss control, or luxury home appraisal is valued.

Responsibilities

• Interact with homeowners and agents by phone, email, and in person.
• Schedule and conduct on-site inspections per carrier guidelines.
• Document high-value property features, materials, and finishes.
• Capture measurements, photos, and site observations.
• Identify underwriting concerns and loss exposures.
• Submit complete web-based reports meeting carrier guidelines.
