Job summary

SFS, Inc. is seeking a Furniture Assembly Technician for part-time, ongoing work. As an Independent Contractor, you will assemble RTA furniture for in-store and in-home projects, using client plans and written instructions. You’ll also handle related items like TV mounts, grills, sporting goods, bicycles and display racks.

You control your schedule, report completions the same day, and must have reliable transportation and your own tools. DailyPay and competitive pay are offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must possess merchandising and/or commercial furniture assembly experience
• Ability to assemble products according to client's written instructions
• Able to understand plan-o-grams and perform customized category resets independently
• Able to carry and lift up to 50 lbs and stand/bend for extended periods
• Internet access with an active email address
• Reliable transportation; some travel involved

Responsibilities

• Assemble RTA furniture and related products for in-store and in-home projects
• Follow client instructions and plan-o-grams to complete assemblies
• Report work completions on the same day as service and manage own scheduling
