Independent Freight Agent – Ocean Import, Machinery (Commission-Only)

Independent Machinery import book: pay 40% of gross profit Year 1, 33% thereafter, no cap. Accounts stay attributed to you. Skypace operations team handles delivery.

Compensation: Commission‑only contractor. Year 1: 40% GP (≈$200,000 on $500,000 GP book). Year 2+: 33% GP. Bonus accelerator: 10% GP on three highest GP months.

Experience: 5+ years in ocean freight sales or independent freight agency with an existing book of machinery importer accounts; a book scope of $500,000+ annual GP or credible path within Year 1.

Qualifications: • 5+ years in ocean freight sales or independent freight agency with existing machinery importer accounts. • Book scope of $500,000+ annual GP or credible documented path within Year 1. • Fluency in anti‑dumping & countervailing duty exposure, mill test certificate handling, heavy‑cargo planning. • Direct relationships at owner‑operator, plant logistics, or procurement level.

Responsibilities: • Activate and grow independent portfolio of Mid‑Atlantic machinery importer accounts. • Track overall portfolio performance and expand the book. • Partner with procurement and account management teams to build competitive service proposals. • Track attribution in CRM from day one with operations executing delivery.
