Job summary
The Pain Center of Rhode Island is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our private practice. You will work with our physician and nurse practitioner, building your own patient panel, performing injections, and contributing to the growth of our clinical services.
You will lead treatment plans, educate patients, and explore non-surgical pain management options with autonomy and opportunity for advancement.
Qualifications
- Active Rhode Island NP/APRN license required.
- Active DEA registration required.
- National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner required.
Responsibilities
- Independently evaluate and manage patients with musculoskeletal and pain conditions.
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with our physician.
- Perform joint, bursa, trigger‑point, and other injections.
- Build and manage your own growing patient panel.
- Educate patients and communicate treatment options clearly and compassionately.
- Learn and incorporate regenerative and orthobiologic treatments into your practice.
- Work closely with and help train/manage a Medical Assistant.
- Maintain efficient documentation and quickly learn our clinical software.
