Job summary

Business Resources One is seeking an experienced Plant Healthcare Technician based in Falls Church, VA to diagnose, treat, and maintain tree and shrub health across diverse properties. You will work independently on daily routes, executing integrated pest management and fertilization plans for vitality.

The role offers year-round employment, with opportunities for advancement and professional development within a trusted tree care organization serving government and commercial sites.

Qualifications

• Two years of hands-on plant health care/arboriculture experience.
• Valid Commercial Pesticide Applicator's License (Core + 3A or 3B) at hire.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• ISA Arborist Certification is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat tree and shrub health issues including pests and diseases.
• Complete 10–15 daily service routes applying fertilizers and pesticides safely.
• Maintain, operate, and stock plant health care equipment and company vehicle.
• Document all treatments and follow-up requirements after site inspections.
• Communicate professionally with clients and management about site conditions and updates.
• Transition to general tree work or groundsman duties in winter to ensure year-round employment.
