Job summary

FAR Inspections is actively seeking a reliable independent contractor to perform residential mortgage inspections in Surry County, Virginia and surrounding communities. As a Field Inspector, you will conduct exterior occupancy verifications, report on property status, and capture 9+ photos using mobile apps.

You control routing, schedule, and territory with autonomy. Pay is per inspection, with earnings potential equivalent to $25–$35 per hour; the territory in Surry County averages about 5

Qualifications

• Own equipment including reliable vehicle, smartphone, computer with internet and printer.
• Ability to pass a standard background check.
• Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
