FAR Inspections is actively seeking reliable independent contractors to perform residential mortgage inspections in Des Moines County, Iowa and surrounding communities. You will earn a flexible income on your own schedule as a Field Inspector covering Des Moines County, performing exterior occupancy verifications.

Earnings are per inspection with typical rates that translate to $25–$35 per hour for efficient contractors.

Qualifications

• Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
• Ability to pass a standard background check.
• As an independent contractor, you are responsible for providing your own equipment: vehicle, smartphone, computer with internet, and a printer.

Responsibilities

• Determine property occupancy status based on industry-standard indicators.
• Capture 9+ photos and submit brief reports using industry-standard mobile applications.
• Maintain a high level of reliability regarding territory coverage and deadlines.
