FAR Inspections is seeking independent contractors to perform residential occupancy verifications across Adams County, Iowa. You control your schedule and routing as a 1099 field inspector with a fuel-efficient vehicle and access to mobile reporting apps.

Typical inspections are quick, with 5–6 minutes on site, and earnings are per inspection or the equivalent of $25–$35 per hour depending on volume and county. Daily work varies by county and your autonomy.

Qualifications

• Independent contractor status with own equipment.
• Pass a standard background check.
• Own reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential occupancy verifications (exterior visits).
• Capture 9+ photos and submit reports using industry-standard mobile apps.
• Maintain territory coverage and meet deadlines.
• Drive extended distances within assigned county.
