Job summary

Northwest Emergency at Eastern in Amarillo, Texas, is recruiting dedicated emergency physicians to staff four Freestanding Emergency Departments. This physician-owned, independent group offers full-time and part-time opportunities with competitive compensation and paid malpractice coverage.

Board-certified/board-eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family/Internal Medicine with EM experience is encouraged, with a 1099 contractor model and negotiable sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Primary Care Boards (FM/IM) or ABEM Board Certification
• Current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (required)
• Eligible for a Texas medical license
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered emergency care

Responsibilities

• Staff four Freestanding Emergency Departments (FSEDs) affiliated with Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, TX
• Provide high-quality emergency care and collaborate with a physician-led, independent group
• Utilize Cerner EMR and participate in continuous professional development
