Job summary

Almond Blossom Academy seeks a Contracted Educator (CE) to deliver independent educational services to ABA students under a contract. The CE will provide courses, tutoring, and curriculum delivery either online or in-person, while upholding ABA's standards and confidentiality requirements.

The role emphasizes blended and online learning, strong planning, and family communication, with a focus on equity and student-centered practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills to support diverse learners and instructional goals.
• Candidates should possess Lesson Planning and Training skills to design structured learning experiences and guide student skill development.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to engage with students, families, and team members in a clear and professional manner.
• Relevant teaching certification or license, and prior experience in K–12 or similar educational settings.
• Ability to support blended and online learning models, with basic proficiency in educational technology and learning management systems.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-centered practices, with strong organizational and classroom management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced coursework or specialized training in pedagogy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach individual courses or classes, adapting to student needs.
• Provide tutoring or academic instruction.
• Develop or deliver approved curriculum.
• Conduct lessons in person or online.
• Support students with specific academic needs.
• Communicate with families regarding services provided.
• Maintain student records and documentation.
• Follow ABA's academic, professional, confidentiality, and student-safety requirements.
