Job summary

Buona is seeking Independent Delivery Drivers in River Forest, IL to bring the Buona experience to homes and offices. You will deliver with a focus on timely, friendly service and compliance with company standards.

As a 1099 contractor, you will operate your own vehicle, maintain vehicle appearance, and complete driver checklists. Must meet age, license, insurance and background-check requirements to join our delivery team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must provide proof of insurance.
• Must have a vehicle (drivers must use their own vehicles).
• Must successfully pass a background check and motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time for deliveries and call ASAP if late.
• Follow delivery procedures including setup, sort and clean.
• Adhere to health, civil code regulations.
• Greet customers with friendly, courteous service and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain neat appearance and comply with dress code.
• Care for vehicle and equipment; complete driver checklist before departure and after return.
• Observe traffic and parking rules at delivery sites.
• Adhere to store rules and company policies.

Independent Delivery Drivers are 1099 employees.

Job Summary:

As an Independent Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for making deliveries in a pleasant, timely manner, according to our company’s standards. Drivers are responsible for bringing the “Buona” experience to homes, offices and more by providing outstanding customer service on the-go.

Responsibilities:

• Arrive on time for deliveries – if late, call ASAP.
• Follow all approved procedure for deliveries including setup, sort and clean
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations
• Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and highly friendly, courteous service or assistance, always ensuring they are satisfied.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance is neat, clean and well-groomed at all times while observing company dress code.
• Take care of vehicles and any other equipment provided – includes filling out driver checklist before departure and after arrival to store, and support to maintain clean vehicles.
• Vehicle safety – observe all rules of the road and follow parking rules and regulations at delivery sites.
• Observe shift operating hours at all times, as scheduled or assigned by manager
• Adhere to all store rules and company policies
