Job summary

Beyond Catering is seeking an Independent Delivery Driver in Valparaiso, IN. You’ll deliver meals to homes and offices, earning a flat rate of $25 per delivery plus tips. This is a 1099 independent contractor role focused on friendly, efficient service during each delivery.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and your own vehicle. You’ll complete a driver checklist, follow health and safety rules, and maintain punctual, professional service during shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Must provide proof of insurance.
• Must have a vehicle (drivers must use their own vehicles).
• Must successfully pass a background check and motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time for deliveries – if late, call ASAP.
• Follow all approved procedure for deliveries including setup, sort and clean.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations.
• Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and highly friendly, courteous service or assistance, always ensuring they are satisfied.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance is neat, clean and well-groomed at all times while observing company dress code.
• Take care of vehicles and any other equipment provided – includes filling out driver checklist before departure and after arrival to store, and support to maintain clean vehicles.
• Vehicle safety – observe all rules of the road and follow parking rules and regulations at delivery sites.
• Observe shift operating hours at all times, as scheduled or assigned by manager.
• Adhere to all store rules and company policies.
