Job summary

SilverRide is expanding its award-winning ride-share platform and seeks compassionate independent contractor drivers to partner with us. Drive and assist riders to medical appointments, social outings, and other activities with door-through-door service.

As a Driver Companion, you will help older adults and people with mobility challenges get where they need to go, while enjoying flexible hours and the opportunity to earn income on your schedule. A clean driving record and age 21+ are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years with a clean driving record.
• Must pass Federal Transit Authority and state drug and alcohol tests prior to employment and agree to random testing while active.
• Willingness to be fingerprinted and pass a criminal background check.
• No felonies or charges involving violence.
• Not on the National Sex Offender Registry.
• 4-door sedan or low SUV that is 2014 or newer with 5 to 8 passenger seats including driver.
• Current, valid vehicle registration.
• Proof of insurance in your name.
• Your vehicle will have to pass an inspection as required by your state.
• Vehicles must be clean and not have any smell of smoke or drugs.
