  • Clean and grind parts.
  • Paint draft gear parts after reconditioning.
  • Become certified to weld within 90 days.

Job description

A. Stucki Company is a privately held company comprised of over 65 global locations, including Stucki Roller Bearing. Since 1911, Stucki has worked tirelessly to grow and expand its parts, service, and operations to create versatility in the field. Stucki offers a multitude of different services and products associated with engineering, reconditioning, machining, and manufacturing of railcar parts, railcars, industrial parts, and their newest division of fueling locomotives.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Disassembly of draft gears.
• Cleaning and grinding of parts.
• Painting of draft gear parts after reconditioned.
• Will become certified to weld in the 1st 90 days. Welding is part of the role, but it will still mostly consist of the other labor duties.

Skills/Experience Requirements:
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to work within a high heat or cold environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Pay: $16 per hour to start. Will get bumped to $17 per hour after becoming a certified welder.
