Job summary

Alliancehealth-Durant is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams. The role requires independent judgment, technical proficiency, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.

You will verify orders, confirm patient identity, and follow imaging protocols to ensure accurate results. The ideal candidate possesses 1–3 years of ultrasound experience, or 2–4 years preferred, with ARDMS/ARRT registry eligibility and BCLS within seven days of employment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of clinical ultrasound experience is required.
• 2-4 years of clinical ultrasound experience is preferred.
• Certification: ARDMS or ARRT Sonography registry eligible required; BCLS within 7 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures independently following department protocols.
• Verifies patient identity and ensures correct orders prior to imaging.
• Documents imaging procedures and patient data in the EHR; scans into PACS for radiologist review.
• Maintains safe, clean, organized work environment and follows infection control guidelines.
• Monitors imaging supplies and coordinates inventory as needed.
