Job summary

FeldCare Connects, an app-based therapy network, seeks a self-motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide quality home health care to patients of all ages in the Harbor City area as an Independent Contractor.

You will follow the treatment plan, perform interventions, assess progress, and coordinate with the health care team to support functional status and daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Ability and enthusiasm in working with all ages.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide services defined by state laws governing the practice of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other health care team members.
• Help patients perform therapeutic activities to improve functioning and safety.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition.
• Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and health care team in therapy activities they can participate in.
