Job summary

Embark Behavioral Health in Springville is seeking an experienced cook to lead breakfast, lunch and dinner for girls aged 12–17 in a therapeutic setting. You will design nourishing menus, adapt to dietary needs, and work independently to deliver consistent, healthy meals.

The on-site role runs Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with pay of $26.00–$27.00 per hour DOE. Embark provides comprehensive benefits within a collaborative, family-centered care team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of cooking experience.
• A current Food Handler's Permit, and a valid Driver's License.
• Knowledge of health codes and proper sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Create menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with potential for tailoring.
• Prepare shift meals for clients and staff on schedule per dietary guidelines.
• Support food prep and storage following safe-handling procedures.
• Uphold kitchen safety and sanitation through cleaning and checks.
• Complete next-day meal prep for next menu day's ingredients and portions.
• Maintain snack availability and stock all snacks.
