Job summary

Language Services Associates is seeking Vietnamese interpreters in the Neptune, NJ area to support LEP communities across medical, legal, and customer service settings. As an Independently Contracted Interpreter, you will facilitate language access for diverse assignments and help maintain quality standards.

Fluency in English and Vietnamese is required, with access to transport. Two or more years of interpreting experience or related certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English and Vietnamese
• Familiarity with industry standard best practices (professionalism, courtesy, protocol and confidentiality)
• Ability to provide a high level of client service
• Access to personal or public transport
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
• Complete training(s) and participate in ongoing Quality Assurance monitoring
