Job summary

Language Services Associates is seeking Telugu interpreters to support LEP communities in the Yardley, PA area. Interpreters join LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters and may be assigned to a variety of settings requiring clear language mediation.

Applicants should be fully fluent in English and Telugu, with a customer‑oriented approach and access to transportation. Prior interpreting experience is preferred, and relevant certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Telugu.
• The ability to provide a high level of client service.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Access to personal or public transport
