Job summary

Language Services Associates is seeking Bengali interpreters in the Ambler, PA area to support LEP communities across a range of settings. As part of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will facilitate language communication for diverse assignments and maintain professional standards.

LSA continuously accepts qualified interpreters for a wide range of interpreting opportunities, with a focus on confidentiality, client service, and adherence to industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both English and Bengali.
• Provide a high level of client service.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry certifications/trainings (CMI, CCHI, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct and maintain confidentiality.
• Follow policies and procedures, including interpretation protocols and best practices.
• Meet client clearance requirements as requested.
• Report on-site to accepted assignments in a timely manner.
• Access to personal or public transport.
