Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Post Doctoral Clinical Psychologist for an outpatient clinic in an independent contractor role. You will conduct psychological assessments, provide psychotherapy, and may offer neuropsychological testing as needed.

Under supervision of a fully licensed psychologist, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, use telehealth and in-person visits, and choose working hours to fit your schedule while supporting patients aged five

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology.
• Experience in neurocognitive testing preferred.
• No license required.
• Outpatient work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
• Provide different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Provide neuropsychological and neurocognitive testing services (optional).
• Option to provide psychotherapy & counseling services only, neuropsychological testing only, or a combination of both services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and families about mental health conditions, neuropsychological findings, and therapeutic strategies.
• Provide documentation of services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Stay current with advancements in psychology and neuropsychology through continuing education and professional development.
• Work under the supervision of a fully licensed psychologist.
