Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Post Doctoral Clinical Psychologist for an outpatient clinic as an independent contractor. You will perform neurocognitive and neuropsychological testing, provide psychotherapy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers flexible hours with in-person and telehealth options (Mon-Thu in-office; Fri-Sun telemedicine) and the opportunity to determine your own schedule as an independent contractor.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in clinical psychology (Ph.D., Psy.D.) required or preferred.
• Experience in neurocognitive and neuropsychological testing is preferred.
• No license is required for the candidate.
• Work experience in an outpatient setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessments, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for patients with a variety of mental health conditions.
• Provide different modalities of psychotherapy and counseling services.
• Provide neuropsychological and neurocognitive testing services (optional).
• Option to provide psychotherapy & counseling services only, neuropsychological testing only, or a combination of both services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions, neuropsychological findings, and therapeutic strategies.
• Provide documentation of services rendered in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Stay current with advancements in psychology and neuropsychology through continuing education and professional development.
• Work under the supervision of a fully licensed psychologist.
