  • Maintain temperature control and chain‑of‑custody requirements for all deliveries, including temperature‑sensitive or biohazardous materials.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Follow safety procedures including cargo securement, hazmat handling (if certified), and emergency protocols.
  • Safely operate your own insured, reliable vehicle while maintaining fuel efficiency and route optimization.
  • Use mobile dispatching applications or other communication tools for real‑time tracking and updates.
  • Communicate promptly, clearly, and respectfully with dispatch regarding time of arrival to pick‑up and drop‑off locations and with clients and the home office regarding any delivery delays, incidents, vehicle issues, or special instructions.
  • Accurately complete delivery documentation, including digital signatures, proof‑of‑delivery images, pick‑up/drop‑off logs, and any compliance paperwork.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor as a representative of the company while engaging with healthcare personnel.
  • Handle packages with care to avoid injury or damage; lift packages using proper technique and ensure they are securely fastened during transportation.
  • Perform daily pre‑trip, post‑trip, and safety inspections and report any issues immediately.
  • Observe all traffic laws and regulations, including wearing seat belts, following speed limits, right‑of‑way rules, and traffic signals.
  • Ensure on‑time pick‑up and delivery of cargo as scheduled, maintaining strong communication with dispatch and the operations team.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s license with a clean and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
    • Clean driving record with no citation or conviction of more than 2 moving violations during a 24‑month period prior to application.
    • No seatbelt violation in the 12 months prior to application.
    • No cell‑phone violation within the 12 months prior to application.
    • No record of DUI/DWI within the past 5 years.
