As a Home Study Contractor, your professional skills directly support the licensing and stability of foster families in our community. Your work matters.
You're not clocking in—you're contributing.
You're an experienced social worker or therapist, independently completing SAFE-format home study updates for re-licensure of foster homes.
You manage your own schedule, and each finished report earns you $700.
You're in regular contact with our Foster Care team—reporting progress, flagging concerns, and ensuring families stay on track to re-license.
You’re a trusted part of our extended team, even as you work on your own time.
Master’s degree and DC/MD licensure (LMSW, LGSW, or higher)
SAFE training and 2+ years of child welfare experience (preferred)
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Cultural competence and trauma-informed mindset
Professional liability insurance ($1M/$2M required)
Home study updates completed and submitted within 90 days of referral
Support in gathering documentation for re-licensing
Optional attendance at virtual team meetings or trainings
Clear, detailed, and professional reports every time
