Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide independent contractor network. This role offers flexible, project-based work servicing major retailers and brands across the United States.

Projects typically range 12–20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service during the first two weeks of each month. Ideal candidates enjoy independent work, active roles, and delivering high-quality retail execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to use mobile devices for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
