Job description

TeachTown is the leading provider of education solutions for students diagnosed with autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities, emotional disorders, and speech/language impairments. We are seeking a motivated individual to join us as an Independent Contractor - Customer Enablement Specialist to support our customers. The individual will be strong in content knowledge of public school applications of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and is prepared to provide on-going training and cross-functional support for the company to meet long-term goals.

This is a 1099 contractor position with a flexible schedule and does not include benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support in-depth product training (onsite & virtual) for teachers and administrators so they can use our products and services in the classroom with fidelity and drive results for the students they serve.
  2. Support long-term projects within the product enablement team through participating in team content reviews, content creation, and product use cases.
  3. Creation of program support documents, walkthroughs, training content, and other media to ensure teacher fidelity.
Basic Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
  2. 2+ years of classroom teaching experience in public education settings.
  3. 2+ years of experience providing training, support, and coaching in school settings.
  4. Demonstrate strong independence skills in trained tasks.
  5. Work efficiently in a remote work environment.
  6. Proficiency with Google Suite/Microsoft Office/Zoom.
  7. Ability to anticipate problems and provide immediate solutions.
Preferred Experience
  1. Master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
  2. Experience in a school leadership role (specialist, administrator) or interacting with senior school leadership (director, superintendents).
  3. Experience in providing remote supervision and training.
