Independent Contractor – Commercial Insurance Inspector (Fargo, ND)

Position Overview

EXL Risk Control is seeking self-directed independent contractors with excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and a commitment to quality and timeliness. You will work remotely and service onsite survey/inspection assignments in Fargo, ND.

Preferred experience includes commercial insurance, real estate, inspection, construction, claims, loss control, underwriting, or fire and safety. However, all interested candidates are encouraged to apply. We offer a 15-hour online certification for those without experience, with fees negotiable based on experience and job specifics.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule and conduct on-site surveys of businesses such as retail, restaurants, hotels, apartments, construction sites, churches, and schools.
  • Provide risk control reports to insurance clients, including recommendations to mitigate potential losses.
  • Manage your assignments, secure customer appointments, and complete work on time.
