Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers for flexible, supplemental income. You will work on merchandising projects for major retailers, with windows rather than fixed schedules, and travel to different locations as needed.

You’ll perform product resets, shelf maintenance, planogram compliance, inventory counts, and reporting via a mobile device.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail, with planogram reading ability.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Comfort with mobile reporting and documentation.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to travel between locations.
• Availability during weekday daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
