Job summary

TELUS Health is seeking an Affiliated Clinical Counselor to provide in-person counseling in the La Corne area, with optional video and phone sessions. This is an independent contractor role where you control your own schedule and work through TELUS Health EAP clients.

You must hold a master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, be in good standing with the Quebec order, and have at least two years of relevant clinical experience. Fluency in French and diverse population experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology.
• Be a member in good standing of your professional order in Quebec.
• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience.
• Be fluent in French.
• Possess post-graduate counseling experience with diverse populations.
• Be able to establish short-term therapeutic goals using a solution-focused approach.
• Be comfortable managing high-risk clinical situations and familiar with available community resources.

Responsibilities

• Providing counseling services to a diverse range of clients facing personal, professional, or family-related challenges.
• Delivering short-term interventions using a solution-focused and collaborative approach.
• Managing a varied caseload and supporting clients with different levels of risk.
• Facilitating referrals to appropriate community resources when necessary.
