Job summary

Boutique Recruiting is seeking a Litigation Attorney for a well-established Southern California law firm. The role involves independently managing civil litigation matters from intake through resolution, handling discovery, motions, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation with strong judgment and attention to detail.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of civil litigation experience, understand California procedures, and can move cases forward with minimal oversight.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of substantive civil litigation experience.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• Experience with trusts and estates litigation, real estate litigation, or business litigation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from intake through settlement, mediation, or trial.
• Develop case strategy and independently move matters through each stage of litigation.
• Draft and respond to written discovery.
• Research, draft, and argue motions and other litigation filings.
• Prepare for and take depositions.
• Represent clients in mediation and other dispute resolution proceedings.
• Prepare cases for trial with evidence, witnesses, strategy, and supporting materials.
• Maintain organization across a diverse caseload with multiple deadlines.
• Communicate directly with clients and collaborate with attorneys and staff.
