Job summary

Dane Street is expanding our physician panel to support Washington L&I Independent Medical Exams with in-person assessments across Bellevue, Seattle, Everett, Spokane, and a Vancouver location being secured. This independent contractor role offers flexible scheduling and per-case compensation for physicians in active practice with a WA license.

No-show and late cancellation fees protect your time, and the work is conducted through a streamlined portal with case preps and transcription services

Qualifications

Board-certified in Cardiology and active clinical practice in Washington.
Experience with Independent Medical Exams (IME) or utilization review is advantageous.
Familiarity with AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Review medical records and conduct patient exams.
Complete reports addressing clinical questions using AMA Guides (Sixth Edition).
Return cases by due dates; provide addenda with additional compensation as needed.
Perform peer-to-peer calls when required to obtain clarifications from clients.
Maintain active practice and comply with client-specific protocols.
