Job summary

Dane Street is expanding our physician panel to support Washington L&I Independent Medical Exams with in-person assessments across Bellevue, Seattle, Everett, Spokane, and a Vancouver location being secured. This independent contractor role offers flexible scheduling and per-case compensation for physicians in active practice with a WA license.

No-show and late cancellation fees protect your time, and the work is conducted through a streamlined portal with case preps and transcription services

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Cardiology and active clinical practice in Washington.
• Experience with Independent Medical Exams (IME) or utilization review is advantageous.
• Familiarity with AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and conduct patient exams.
• Complete reports addressing clinical questions using AMA Guides (Sixth Edition).
• Return cases by due dates; provide addenda with additional compensation as needed.
• Perform peer-to-peer calls when required to obtain clarifications from clients.
• Maintain active practice and comply with client-specific protocols.
