Job summary

CCMS & Associates is seeking experienced Auto and Heavy Equipment Appraisers to join our independent contractor roster in the Charlotte, NC area. As a 1099 contractor, you will assess damages, estimate repair costs, and deliver high-quality appraisals for auto and heavy equipment claims.

Responsibilities include field inspections, detailed estimates using CCC One, Mitchell, Audatex, or similar systems, and timely reporting while maintaining professional communications with carriers and repair

Qualifications

• 3+ years of auto and/or heavy equipment appraisal experience.
• Proficient with CCC One, Mitchell, Audatex or similar estimation software.
• Valid adjuster or appraiser license in applicable states.
• Ability to work independently in the field with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and appraisals of autos, trucks, equipment for damage assessment.
• Prepare accurate estimates using standard software and carrier guidelines.
• Evaluate repair costs, total loss, and salvage values.
• Communicate with adjusters, insurers, and repair facilities for smooth claims processing.
• Submit timely, compliant reports.
