Job summary

CCMS & Associates is seeking experienced Auto and Heavy Equipment Appraisers to join our independent contractor roster. You will perform field inspections, estimate damages, and deliver high-quality appraisals for auto and heavy equipment claims.

As a 1099 contractor, you will travel to inspection sites, use CCC One, Mitchell, or Audatex, and ensure accuracy and timely reporting in line with carrier guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in auto and/or heavy equipment appraisals.
• Proficient with CCC One, Mitchell or Audatex.
• Understanding of insurance policies and claim processes.
• Valid adjuster or appraiser license in applicable states.
• Ability to travel to inspection locations and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and appraisals of autos, trucks, and equipment to assess damage.
• Prepare detailed estimates using CCC One, Mitchell, Audatex or similar.
• Evaluate repair costs, total losses, and salvage values per carrier guidelines.
• Communicate with adjusters, insurers, and repair facilities to ensure claims flow.
• Maintain professional, customer-focused interactions with policyholders.
• Keep independent contractor status while meeting CCMS & Associates' standards.
• Submit comprehensive reports on time and ensure compliance with client standards.
