Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Georgia is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for 1099 Independent Contractor positions in Augusta and Macon. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience, holds a GA license or is eligible, and will provide perioperative anesthesia care while coordinating with CRNAs.

Candidates must supervise CRNAs, ensure 24/7 coverage, and work within the Epic EMR system. This contractor role offers travel stipends and flexible 1099 engagement.

Qualifications

BC/BE MD in Anesthesiology.
1–2 years of experience recommended.
Perioperative anesthetic care and pre-/postoperative management.
Active GA license or eligible to obtain.
Ability to supervise CRNAs and ensure coverage 24/7.
Experience with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

Provide perioperative anesthesia care and maintain patient management.
Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs on staff.
Ensure adequate anesthesia coverage around the clock.
