Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare in Georgia is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for 1099 Independent Contractor positions in Augusta and Macon. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience, holds a GA license or is eligible, and will provide perioperative anesthesia care while coordinating with CRNAs.

Candidates must supervise CRNAs, ensure 24/7 coverage, and work within the Epic EMR system. This contractor role offers travel stipends and flexible 1099 engagement.

Qualifications

• BC/BE MD in Anesthesiology.
• 1–2 years of experience recommended.
• Perioperative anesthetic care and pre-/postoperative management.
• Active GA license or eligible to obtain.
• Ability to supervise CRNAs and ensure coverage 24/7.
• Experience with Epic EMR.

• Possess a skill set to perform perioperative anesthetic care and maintain medical management of patients pre- and postoperatively
• Active license in GA or eligible to obtain

• Assist the other team members in providing adequate anesthesia coverage for patients 24 hours a day/7 day a week
