Napa Valley Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant to join our collaborative and family-oriented community in Napa, CA. The role requires submitting three letters of recommendation (one from a current or previous employer and two personal - non-relatives) and a current resume.

Additionally, a prerequisite test, the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test, is required unless you hold a California Teacher Credential, have an AA degree or higher, or possess at least 48 units

A pre-requisite for employment as an Instructional Assistant is the proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test for the Napa Valley Unified School District. EXCEPTIONS TO TAKING THIS TEST ARE: Possession of a current California Teacher Credential, possession of an AA degree or higher, or at least 48 units, OR CBEST (California Basic Education Skills Test). If you do not meet any of these requirements or have not already taken the test you must do so prior to being employed. Please contact the Napa Valley Adult School, 253-3594, for the next test date.
