Job summary

Napa Valley Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support students in an inclusive, family‑oriented environment. Hours will vary by site, typically 1 hour after school, 2 or 3 days per week depending on the intervention plan.

A pre-requisite for employment as an Instructional Assistant is the proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test for the Napa Valley Unified School District. Exceptions to taking the test are: Possession of a current California Teaching Credential, possession of an AA degree or higher, at least 48 units, or passing the CBEST (California Basic Education Skills Test).
