Position Summary

What you'll do

Team and Position Summary: This role is on our Marketplace Seller Acquisition and Onboarding team, where we own the Marketplace Engineering team at the forefront of building core platforms and services to enable Walmart to deliver vast selection at competitive prices and with a best-in-class seller onboarding experience by enabling third-party sellers to list, sell, and manage their products on walmart.com. We manage the entire seller lifecycle, monitor customer experience, and deliver high-value insights to our sellers to help them plan their assortment, pricing, inventory. The team collaborates with partner platform teams to ensure the best experience for sellers and customers. This role focuses on the Marketplace.

You will act as the Senior Software Engineer, taking ownership of technical projects and solutions, setting technical standards, driving architecture and design, mentoring junior developers, and keeping up with technology trends. You will provide technical leadership throughout the development process, from design to deployment, ensuring best practices, maintaining application performance, and driving operational excellence. Your impact includes applying and developing CRM solutions, developing intuitive software, collaborating with team members, maintaining code quality, troubleshooting, and ensuring software security and continuous improvement.

Additional Responsibilities: Lead a team of senior contributors, participate in large-scale projects, translate requirements into solutions, and collaborate with project teams. Support business objectives by partnering with stakeholders, researching industry best practices, and defining development standards. You will also lead/support UAT and production rollouts, estimate effort, provide feedback, troubleshoot, and justify design decisions.
