Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma, GED, or six months ramp experience.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test.
  • Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs. continuously.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no violations in the past 5 years.
  • Must be able to work variable shifts including overtime, weekends and holidays.
  • Work is outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Must obtain and maintain airport and customs badges/seals.

Responsibilities

  • Lift/move 70 lbs of cargo and baggage on/off aircraft and transport between locations.
  • Frequent bending, stretching, push/pull, stacking and kneeling in confined spaces.
  • Operate motorized equipment.
  • Read and interpret loading instructions, hazard labels, manifests, and routing tags.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Role Purpose

The Ramp Agent plays a vital role in ensuring top tier performance in all aspects of baggage handling, exceeding customer expectations while upholding the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and teamwork. With a strong commitment to company policies and procedures, they help create a smooth and seamless airport experience.

What you will be doing:

  • Comfortably and continuously lift/move 70 lbs. of cargo and baggage on and off aircraft and transport it between aircraft, airport terminals and air cargo facilities.
  • Frequent bending, stretching push/pulling, stacking and kneeling in small confined locations.
  • Operate motorized equipment.
  • Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Shift: 8:30pm-12:30am

What we are looking for:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have high school diploma, GED or six months prior ramp agent work experience.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing, including a drug test.
  • Capable of safely lifting up to 70 lbs. continuously;
  • Must be able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English proficiently.
  • Must have current driver’s license with no violations over the past 5 years
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including overtime, weekends and holidays.
  • Work is done primarily outdoors. Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airports and Custom badges/seals ;
