Job summary

HYTORC is seeking an Incoming Inspection Manager in New Jersey to lead the Incoming Inspection function, ensuring purchased components meet drawings, specifications, PO requirements, supplier certifications, and quality system standards. You will lead inspection activities, develop staff, and drive throughput with CMMs and vision systems.

You will oversee FAI, inspection plans, and provide technical leadership across Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Production to resolve issues and improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quality/engineering or related field preferred.
• 5–7 years in incoming/dimensional inspection or related quality disciplines.
• Prior supervisory/leadership experience with training and mentoring.
• Hands-on programming and operation of CMMs, vision systems, and FARO or comparable arms.
• Experience interpreting complex drawings, GD&T, and inspection plans; support for First Article Inspection.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily Incoming Inspection activities including workload and staffing.
• Lead and develop inspection personnel with clear quality expectations.
• Perform and oversee complex visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials.
• Program, operate, and lead CMMs and vision systems.
• Lead FAI activities and improve inspection plans and work instructions.
• Ensure traceability documentation and QC records are maintained.
