Job summary

Keystone Learning Services seeks a Special Education Teacher for USD #377 Atchison County Community Schools Jr./Sr. High for the 2026-2027 school year. The role requires collaborating with general education staff to support students with IEPs and delivering tailored instructional services.

The teacher will design, monitor, and adjust IEP goals; implement behavior plans; supervise paraeducators; and maintain accurate records and progress reports for students across settings as necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience applying assessment instruments and documenting progress.
• Proficiency with standard office software and record keeping.
• Ability to write professional documents and facilitate meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage programs per IEP for assigned students.
• Collaborate with District and Keystone to provide IEP services.
• Implement positive behavior supports in the learning environment.
• Supervise paraeducators and monitor performance.
• Maintain IEPs, Behavior Plans, and related records.
• Differentiates instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Provide services in gen ed or resource settings per IEPs.
• Attend required meetings and participate in school duties.
• Document incidents and ensure student safety.
