Job summary

EDU-AIDs LLC in Lancaster, New Hampshire is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. You will develop and implement IEPs, provide direct instruction in diverse settings, and collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success.

Qualifications

Valid state certificate in Special Education (Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Severe).
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members.
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Provide direct instruction in various settings (one-on-one, small group, whole class).
Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success.
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP compliance.
Participate in professional development and training as required.
Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
