Goodwill Industries of South Florida is seeking a Skills Trainer II to work with individuals with disabilities, providing frontline services, guidance, supervision, and direct classroom instruction. You will promote inclusive learning, create curricula, monitor progress, and document outcomes to help learners achieve maximum skill development.

Responsabilités

• Present information using a variety of formats, techniques, and resources (role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, and lectures).
• Develop and deliver training programs to help participants maintain and improve individual job skills and performance.
• Work closely with management to create and enhance on-the-job training activities.
• Coordinate with the Learning and Development Supervisor to secure instructional materials for training.
• Utilize the agency’s learning management system to deliver training and provide content feedback to the Supervisor.
• Leverage the agency’s learning library to deliver learning content and ensure accuracy.
• Develop and administer ongoing training to existing team members.
• Actively seek current training methods and best practices to facilitate training of participants.
• Communicate with leadership to identify topics to be addressed or areas needing instruction.
• Analyze metrics to gauge participant and employee performance after training.
• Facilitate direct instruction to gain soft skills and serve as the primary instructor for all training, including work evaluation and work adjustments.
• Instruct at different functioning levels to accommodate lessons for the population served.
• Provide feedback to team members regarding individual performances.
• Conduct readiness workshops and one-on-one coaching to participants and job seekers.
• Maintain detailed case records per funder and agency requirements.
• Ensure participant information is entered into the appropriate form, database, or report promptly and maintain confidentiality.
• Comply with agency policies and CARF standards and with referral sources requirements (APD, Medwaiver, Qlarant, DVR, etc.).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
