Qualifications

• Must have CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 1 month of employment.
• Experience working with youth in similar programming is preferred.
• Background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining paperwork, attendance records, routine safety checks, and general forms needed to operate the facility and program effectively.
• Participate in all monthly meetings and trainings as requested.
• Maintain knowledge of safety rules and enforce regulations.
• Assist with inclusion participants in park district activities and adapt activities for participants with disabilities.
• Promote social interaction and active involvement among participants.
• Support the site supervisor in implementing behavior management strategies.
• Communicate incidents involving participants to the site supervisor.
• Provide quality customer service to participants, parents, staff and the public.
• Assist with program setup, equipment, supplies and cleanup.
