Job summary

Colonial School District – Delaware is seeking a qualified Music Teacher to provide high-quality instruction to PreK–22 students with diverse learning needs. The teacher will design accessible music experiences, collaborate with the educational team, and align instruction with IEP goals and accommodations.

The role requires Delaware certification, a bachelor's degree, and ability to work in person with a commitment to inclusive, developmentally appropriate activities and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible or hold State of Delaware Certification as a Music Teacher.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Master's degree preferred.
• Proficient in Technology, such as Microsoft and Google Applications, Classlink, Schoology, Infinite Campus, etc.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver music instruction aligned with district curriculum.
• Differentiate music instruction to address diverse learning needs and IEP goals.
• Collaborate with special education teachers, related service providers, and families.
