Responsibilities

• Adapts classroom activities, assignments and/or materials under the direction of the teacher.
• Administers tests.
• Assists special education students requiring daily care (e.g. toileting, feeding).
• Attends Individual Education Program meetings with assigned student(s).
• Confers with teachers and/or parents as required.
• Implements instructional programs and lesson plans across reading, math, language, etc.
• Instructs students individually or in small groups.
• Maintains classroom equipment, student files/records and grades.
