Job summary

Milford Public Schools in Milford, MA is seeking a Teacher Assistant for Milford High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The position runs 7:50 AM to 2:20 PM with pay per contract at $19.10 to $24.92 per hour, depending on experience and certification.

Responsibilities include supporting students with and without disabilities, assisting in inclusion/Special Education settings, collaborating with teachers, and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• SEI Endorsement preferred.
• Experience working with students with and without disabilities.
• Ability to assist in the inclusion and/or Special Education classroom.
• Experience working with English Language Learners.
• Bilingual preferred.
• CPI training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of building administration, Special Education teachers and classroom teachers.
• Assist small groups and/or individual students with progress toward academic, social-emotional and/or behavioral goals within the classroom, with guidance provided by the teacher.
• Communicate and collaborate with teachers.
• Provide direct instruction in an inclusion classroom or small group setting.
• Ability to modify curriculum.
• Maintain confidential information.
• Collect data on student performance as needed.
• Assist students with daily living/self-help skills.
• Attend and participate in training opportunities as directed; and
• Perform supervisory duties, as assigned by school administration.
