Qualifications

• Arizona certificate in Early Childhood Special Education.
• Knowledge of special education legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality special education instruction for young children.
• Assess progress and adapt teaching to meet goals.
• Foster social/behavioral growth and positive interactions.
• Collaborate with general education staff for accommodations.
• Plan for and supervise instructional assistants.
• Promote access to general education settings.
• Develop and maintain IEPs with multidisciplinary teams.
• Meet state and district guidelines in IEP goals and services.
• Support student growth within Madison curriculum and standards.
• Engage with parents/guardians to align on progress.
• Participate in district training, SST/MET/IEP meetings.
• Demonstrate organization, communication, and teamwork.
