Job summary

Mission Neighborhood Centers in San Francisco seeks a Paraeducator to support instructional activities in an inclusive classroom, assist students with IEP goals and data collection, and collaborate with teachers and families to promote development.

Requirements include AS/AA or BA preferred, 1+ year teaching experience, 2+ years with preschoolers who have behavioral challenges, and bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Pay is $33.00–$35.00 hourly with benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of teaching experience.
• 2+ years working with young children (0-5) with emotional/behavioral challenges and disabilities.
• Knowledge of CSEFEL/Teaching Pyramid practices and ABA.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and execute individualized education programs in the classroom.
• Utilize behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement.
• Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, social-emotional staff, and families.
• Maintain confidentiality of information and complete required records.
